WHAT WE DID
Match the leads to the crews.
More leads is not always the goal. A booked-out crew needs fewer leads, not more. We run the ads around what each business can build.
- Company one: in 2025 the crews were booked out from April to August. We cut search spend so leads matched what they could build. Local Services Ads stayed on and brought leads at $70 each.
- Company two: in mid 2025 we added campaigns for installs and quotes. Since then, 8.5 of every 100 clicks became a lead, up from 3.7 before. Local Services Ads added 81 more leads.
COMPANY ONE: COST PER LEAD BY YEAR
Ad spend only. Click prices rose every year.
+15%
is all the cost per lead rose for company one from 2022 to 2025, while the price of a click rose 53%.

HOW WE COUNTED
A lead is a phone call or form fill that came from an ad. Map clicks, website visits and other light actions are left out. Cost per lead is ad spend only. Company one covers January 2022 to December 2025. Company two covers July 2025 to October 2026, with "before" meaning October 2022 to June 2025. Break even for company one uses $5,100 a job and includes Rhythm's fee. It shows what the leads could be worth, not closed sales.
