CASE STUDY · GOOGLE ADS · HOME SERVICES · THREE COMPANIES
How three home service companies got more leads for less.
Rhythm runs these Google Ads accounts. Every number comes from the clients' own accounts.
AT A GLANCE
THE SHORT VERSION
Three businesses. One way of working.
We looked at three Google Ads accounts we run. Each company started in a different place. Each one ended up with more leads at a cost it could plan around.
7.3xmore leads in the first year after a garage floor company moved its ads to Rhythm
751leads in five months for a brand-new concrete leveling account
$98all-in cost per lead for a home services client over four years, fee included
THE NUMBERS
Three accounts.
| Client | Time frame | Starting point | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home services company | 2022 to 2025 | Needed steady leads at a steady cost | 3,991 leads at $98 each, fee in |
| Concrete leveling | Apr to Aug 2026 | Brand-new ads account | 751 leads at $101 each, fee in |
| Garage floor coating | Sep 2025 to Aug 2026 | Left another agency | 344 leads, up from 47 |
WHAT WE DID
Aim at buyers, not browsers.
Track every call and form. Spend more where leads are cheap and less where they are not. Fit the ads to what the business can handle.
- Home services, 4 years: the price of a click rose 53% from 2022 to 2025, while the cost of a lead rose only 15%. When the crews were booked out, we cut search spend so leads matched what they could build.
- Concrete leveling, new account: three months learning the market on a small budget, then search campaigns built on that data. About 550 of the 751 leads were phone calls. Two extra services were tested, did not pay, and were cut fast.
- Garage floor coating, switched agencies: the last agency spent almost half the budget on paint brands and DIY searches, which brought in 8 leads. We rebuilt the account around buyers, fixed call and form tracking and worked on the website. Clicks to leads went from 1.5% to 7.7%.

The bottom line
Good ads are not luck. We aim at people ready to buy, track every call and form, test small and cut what does not pay. Then we keep doing it, month after month.

HOW WE COUNTED
Clients are not named. A lead is a call or form fill that came from an ad. For the home services and concrete clients, Rhythm's fee is added to cost. Concrete sales are estimates: 70% of leads book, 45% of those buy, and a job is about $3,300. Home services job value uses $5,100 a project. It shows what the leads could be worth, not closed sales. Garage numbers are ad spend only and compare September 2024 to August 2025 with September 2025 to August 2026.
